Common questions

What will it cost?

This depends on what you want. You can ask us to undertake work to provide you with information such as a ‘survey’ of your current situation and plans. This is usually completed after you agree a fixed fee in advance, and will depend on the number of hours we estimate the task will need.
If you agree a product or service is what you need and want, then you can ask that we either accept a commission (if there is one available – there isn’t always), or you can agree a fee for our research and implementation; again this will depend on the number of hours we estimate the task will need.

Are you really independent?

Professional Solutions Group Limited is a privately owned firm, dedicated to remaining completely impartial. This was a vital factor in many of our clients choosing us to advise them. You can access the whole market for products and services through us. Any and every service or product available can be accessed though us by you.

I have an adviser already – can I switch?

You are always free to choose; regardless what you may have been told. You can provide us with the authority to access information and in most situations ask that any ongoing commission or fees be redirected to us to cover the costs of ongoing advice.

How will you keep me up to date?

You can tell us what you want going forward and of course you can always change this to meet any changes in your circumstances. You can ask to:

1. Simply advise you on a current need and leave it at that after we have met that need.
2. Keep you informed of general developments with regular Newsletters.
3. Undertake regular written reviews of your products or situation; with our without a face to face meeting. This service of course requires an investment on your part. If you want face to face meetings this will require your time as well.

I just want to ask some questions first – will you answer them?

You are invited to ask questions. We will always endeavour to answer these within a reasonable period and where possible without charge. Of course our answer may need to be somewhat generalised depending on what information you can give us.
